The U.K. Prime Minister, Boris Johnson assumed office on July 24 after accepting the Queen’s invitation to form a government. On the steps of 10 Downing Street he said that the U.K. would leave the EU "no ifs, no buts" on October 31 as he pledged to "restore trust in democracy."
